Neep Patch

I nearly wussed out of heading in on my bike today. but the forecast said it was going to be the only dry and sunny day of the week so I went for it.  It was the first proper cold morning of the season and I wasn't prepared -my toes were like little blocks of ice by the time I arrived at work and I felt a bit cold pretty much all day.

On the way through I noticed that there was a bit of a fuss happening in Chatelherault - at the weekend they're hosting a 'neep picking patch' trying to encourage the local kids to create traditional tumsie lanterns... I'm sure it's nothing to do with the supposed pumpkin shortage!  I stopped to blip it on the way home when it was considerably warmer and I had the use of my fingers.
