Stairwell

A much cloudier start to the day. We took my friends dog for a walk around the common before going out. We had decided to visit the Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington. We were interested in seeing the Elton John and David Furnish exhibition Fragile Beauty and weren’t disappointed. It’s an incredibly large collection of modern and contemporary photography divided into different themes from early fashion, celebrities, politics, racism. So much to see.

The only photo l took today was some of the colourful staircase as we left the exhibition. We headed back to my friend’s house just as some very dark clouds were looming in the distance. It soon began to rain heavily but we were fortunately in a car.

After lunch l spent a little while shopping in a local clothes shop in her town before walking back. A relaxing evening in with some very tasty Chinese food for tea, not the type of food readily available back home. Another enjoyable day.
