The Fairmont le Chateau Frontenac

This morning we picked up our rental car and then sett off to Quebec, where we plan to spend 2 nights. Having resuscitated ourselves with a cup of tea we had a wander round the old part of the town (and found somewhere for a meal!).

The Fairmont Hotel somewhat dominates the skyline in Quebec, so it nicely takes pride of place in today's blip.

It's actually Thanksgiving Weekend in Canada and there's lots going on. The first extra shows one of two "bird men" on stilts, entertaining the crowds, and the second a somewhat daredevil performer balanced atop a big wheel with flaming ropes waving around!
