We drove to Hythe where we boarded the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway for a ride to Dungerness and back. It was great! The railway opened in 1925 and the first engines were modelled on The Flying Scotsman, but a third of the size. We didn’t get off at Dungerness as we wouldn’t have had enough time to explore properly, but we did stop at New Romney station on the way back to look at the exhibitions.
