Otterburn
We set off for Otterburn this afternoon, after I had my German lesson. There were a couple of journey options, and we took the very scenic one that didn't involve the M6.
It was a beautiful drive, marred only by the re-appearance of the warning light on the dashboard. The car remains fine, though, but it added a minor stress to what would have otherwise been a lovely afternoon.
The Minx met us at the cottage in Otterburn, having endured her own car-related troubles with her exhaust. Kwikfit made good until Monday but she arrived sounding like she was participating in Formula One.
We wandered along to the William de Percy for a drink, before enjoying a dinner back at the cottage courtesy of the Minx. After that we chatted for a while before taking a sensibly early night. Big day tomorrow!
PS Today's Blip was taken in the pub, as I was driving this afternoon and unable to take advantage of the many stunning views. Still, it harks back to our recent holiday.
