River Slaney at Bunclody

We woke to another very frosty morning.

After breakfast we drove up to Bunclody.  U & S have friends who are currently living there, and who invited us all to lunch.  We drove up there in sunshine, but threatening clouds were gathering.   We arrived just after 11, had morning coffee with home baked scones, and then went for a short walk down to the river.

By the time we got back to their house it was starting to rain, and there were several sharp showers during the afternoon.  We enjoyed their company, and didn't leave till about 5.  Another lovely rainbow seen as we drove home.
