The accidental finding

Beehive Cell

This looks like the kind of cell I used to see when I was learning about early British Christian saints, in the picture books of my childhood. People can't have been very tall then.

There were no saints today that I could see. CleanSteve and I were at the 'most haunted' unfinished Woodchester Mansion,  because CS needed to take a portrait shot of a man who works there, and get some papers signed. The mansion is awesome, but it was cold outside (and indoors) so we left on the minibus just 40 minutes after we'd arrived. We will return in the spring.  The 'cell' above was most likely built by the stonemasons who work at the mansion. For the rest of the day, I've been resting, mostly. Poor GG had a series of disasters and never did get to on her cruise, though she made it to Istanbul. She is back in Gloucestershire. She now has...wait for it...drum roll... COVID! At least she had a test kit to check herself. She is 80 so it's no laughing matter.
