Filming
I can't believe it's been a week since my new bedding. The "cool" blue honeycomb fabric that IKEA have as mattress and pillow protectors definitely work. I have slept much better and felt more comfortable using them.
We didn't leave the flat today, so a few more things got done towards my clearing up. I had to help G with a one-minute video that she's been asked to do for a friend who has a well-being channel on Instagram. She had to talk about her breast cancer journey. It took me over 30 minutes to set up the lighting and test the camera that I would be using. I opted for my old Nokia 8 as it takes 4K video. I should have used my new camera.
Long story short, G needed a few takes and she even had to change her t-shirt at one point as white suits her better than navy. She initially had just 30 seconds of talking. That became over three minutes long in the final take. We've just heard back from Petra that it's not going to work. Argh. One of the outcomes was finding a fantastic app (Lux Meter) which helps with exposure settings.
Anyway, the bigger thing today was finally completing a video that I started in September, upgrading to Filmora 14 in the process. I can't believe it took so long for what is a relatively simple song. And I have caught up on my blips for the last few days.
