As the crow flies

Do you see the crow? There were two but one took off just as I was taking this photo of the bare boxelder tree framed by cloudy skies. Lightroom added the purple, appropriate as it’s going to begin raining soon :) • MrsP picked a container of acorns, thanks to yesterday’s fierce winds, while I cut back all of our day lilies. Titmice, finches, chickadees and nuthatches were busy flying back and forth to the feeders. One wooly bear caterpillar was rescued, and our lone dragonfly is still with us • Our neighbors walked over to chat and say their goodbyes. They leave for Florida tomorrow, and they’ll be missed…but not their cat, Lewis! • Looking forward to starting another movie before dinner • Peace & Love
