Dredging
I was walking the sea wall at Teignmouth this morning. Dredging was taking place and this verse - at end - came to mind.
In extra is an abandoned building - not sure what it was used for.
On the seafront there is a pop up sauna.
On Wednesdays it is ‘ Pay What you can Afford’ .I might come back - another extra
‘Dirty British coaster with a salt-caked smoke stack,
Butting through the Channel in the mad March days,
With a cargo of Tyne coal,
Road-rails, pig-lead,
Firewood, iron-ware, and cheap tin trays.’
John Masefield
