Harvest Over

Yes, all the fields around here have been harvested and just a few round bales left to be collected.

I was fully expecting it to rain this afternoon/evening.  All the signs were there.  First the mix of blue skies and wispy cirrus.  Then it thickened to cirro-stratus complete with a 22degree halo.  That didn't last long as the cloud continued to thicken and lower into altostratus.
After lunch I hurried to get some gardening done while it was still dry.  Even now (midnight) it is still dry.  The forecast actually says no rain until Wednesday.  Even supposed to be sunshine on Monday!
