Cheticamp Island Light

Celtic Colours - Day Two.  Today on Cape Breton Island, we traveled part of the national park, seeing spectacular and dramatic scenes of the North Atlantic coast, a forest with 4oo year old trees, and colorful landscapes at thie peak of their autumnal presentation.  

This afternoon, we attended a performance of traditional Acadian and Scottish dance, accompanied by outstanding celtic musicians, hailing from Canada.  A traditional Acadian community dinner, held at the same venue took place following the program.

Following all the above, we took a quick ride out to Cheticamp Island, just to see the lighthouse, and the sunset.
