It Was All Yellow
Today involved a lot of smallish activities, nothing of significance. A mini tidy in the garden and some potting on of some cuttings taken a few weeks back. Rosemary and Fuchsias, all with good roots, let's hope they survive.
This is a David Austin rose, Molyneux. Possibly named because of David Austin's location, possibly for Wolves, possibly both. Either way, it's a reliable rose, in full bloom in the middle of October.
In line with the week's earlier theme, more soup was made. Well, haddock chowder, a different kettle of fish. Not a pauper's tea by any means, not at today's prices. I made myself laugh when totting it up. An old punchline, Christmas cracker standard, came to mind. 'Heres that sick squid I owe you'. Ha ha.
Today's other achievements:
Walked dogs
Aqua class
Made a Victoria sponge
Watched 'Who Do You Think You Are' - Olly Murs, one of the more interesting episodes.
