In the spirit of my renewed blip commitment, I forgot to consciously take a photograph today but just found one that I took from a notice board in a shop.
The subject is more interesting than the quality of the image. I've cut the last line with the contact details, for purposes of privacy. I've emailed to register my interest in taking part.
What else happened? Next to nothing. Bought some cushions in a charity shop along with a book about the Mitford girls.
Yesterday however was quite a busy day but I'd posted really early. I helped a neighbour load a van (again, third time) as she's moving to Mablethorpe shortly. She has a professional mover but wanted to take some specific items separately.
It's funny how you can live alongside someone for years, have an opinion on them, and then see a totally different side of them. Someone who's had a career, managed to stay alive for a reasonable amount of time and yet now seems to have absolutely no common sense at all. I've helped out for around 15 hours now over 3 occasions and have come away increasingly astounded each time.
There's a bit of a hoarding situation going on (understatement) and I found myself at one point saying 'No, no broken bricks in the van, Suzi'.
The evening involved leftover soup (bloody soup), a couple of glasses of wine and Gardener's World. Lovely. It's when I read it back I realise I'm not young anymore.
