Flanders Moss

Back blip
A rare example of a raised lowland peat bog.
It was a very chilly night and there was frost on the tent when we got up.
After 1st breakfast we packed up and then went across to the wee van for a 2nd breakfast of bacon rolls before going our separate ways.
We went via Flanders Moss where we had a short walk round the board walks and read the information boards, we must go back on a warm day for all the wildlife.
Then home early afternoon and got some of the mud off various things and got them reasonably dry before dark, though the tent was left folded up in the back garden overnight.
Everything unpacked and the washing organised ready for tomorrow.
