Spoilt for Choice

A beautiful if very chilly autumn day.  Almost wall to wall sunshine and after an early meet with the builder to sort the bits for me new back gate, I was a free agent all day.  Meg had a short walk this morning and a much longer one late afternoon.   The low light showing off the river and the hills beyond so well.   So you are spared another crocus - it's Crocus goulimyi in extra pics.

Back to work for a couple of days next.

In between the walks I finished off the bulb repotting and picked the orders for the Crocus Group UK seed exchange.  There are a few pots of bulbs, things that are kept outside all year, still to clean up, they'll have the top soil scraped off and fresh compost in it's place.  There are also a couple of orders to complete for the exchange but I got all the rest to the post office before they closed.
