Lunch and art

Yes, it looks a right mess! However I was on a roll doing some art and didn’t want to clear the table. We could have used the dining table in the house but it’s so sunny in ‘Sanctuary’.
I did Gelliprint backgrounds and vegetable stamps for the FB group ‘Life Documented.
Then I did the Blackbird on old music paper.
It was such a beautiful day today and Bella spent a lot of her day snoozing outside in the sunshine.

I just watched two Channel 4 Dispatches documentaries - the first about the working conditions in the multi story Mattel factory in China and the second about the Shein factory in China which makes cheap fast fashion and steals designs from UK designers. The working conditions are horrendous and the environmental impact is terrible. What a world where people want everything cheap and it ends in landfill.

We really need to change the way we consume goods and think about the poor workers in those awful factories.
