Uncommon Comet
The comet is something you might only see once in a lifetime. Over the last few days, the Tschuchinshan Atlas Comet has been making an appearance. It comes around once 80,000 years. How do they know that? You might enjoy more on large/black (also see extra, the comet in color).
We went to the volcanoes tonight on a whim, hoping to catch the comet with the naked eye. We did not, BUT two star gazers with strong telescopes had the same idea and they were happy to share their lens with us. Amazing magnification!!!
Thank you, sk, for hosting Mono Monday: Magnification
