There's Colour Out There...

If you look for it 

Even on a desperately dull, damp, dismal day.

Which is exactly what the weather has been today.

I went to explore the hidden corners and back alleys of Craven Arms.

There is an awful lot to see and investigate if one has the time to look.

This gorgeous Virginia Creeper is a hotspot of colour and looked great, draped as it was over an old stone wall.

I saw a lot of quiet courtyards and lanes and a surprising number of Victorian houses with date stones showing dates like 1877, 1884 and 1880.

It was a dull day but I had a great time, then home to light the fire. 

And put the kettle on for tea ..
