Bulb Lasagne

I don't have a great deal to report on today.  The weather being miserable outside the window so I wasn't tempted out into the garden.  I also had e-mail issues after uploading our Hobbler pics to Flickr from WhatsApp.  Long story short, I had to change my password and then, as it was getting late, a message came up that there were 'too many messages'!  So after breakfast I switched on the BT online help, ha hah that's a contradiction in terms!  I went around in several loops, was sent to an advert site for broadband, tried the online chat and was told it was the wrong dept.  I was given a telephone number and, with misgivings, I dialled and went through the automated system to be quickly linked up to the wonderful Sean!  He sounded so calm and welcoming.  I pictured him sitting in a quiet office somewhere in his cardigan, with a cup of tea on the side, looking forward to  his next caller and solving their issue.  He couldn't immediately solve my issue but he reassured me it would be attended to and I would hear in a day or two.  A couple of hours later and all was well.  Thank you Sean, I hope you liked my feedback.

Next on the list was looking at fuel providers as we are considering switching.  Unfortunately, no one on our street has a working smart meter, apparently due to us 'living up North'.  Ours was installed between COVID lockdowns and has never worked.  We will need one to work to be able to receive feed in from the new provider so it's Catch22 at the moment.

Are you asleep yet having to read my very interesting morning?  It didn't improve after lunch.  I've cleaned the cooker, well some of it is clean, made a last batch of tomato soup and descaled my coffee machine.

The Fabulous Hobbler Weekend seems an age away.........

Oh and my blip!  Tony made a 'bulb lasagne' as did Monty Don in Gardener's World last episode, with layers of bulbs to come through at different times.  Within an hour, the dastardly squirrel had chucked it all over, eaten some of the bulbs and left big holes.  This is Plan B.
