Around 4:00 am, Belle Kitty saw something on the patio that upset her. Thank goodness Parker was here because that kitty scream scared me - a lot. I turned on outside lights but she must have scared the visitor as well. I certainly could not go back to sleep after that fright. But I am sure my faithful grand dogs would protect me if necessary. They don’t stray far from Grammy. After Parker left for school and the pups went out, I took a brief nap so I would be useful today. The temps are much cooler than yesterday. This was a good week to be away from home. It will be more pleasant working outside when it warms up to the 70°s next week. When I stay at the kids’ home, I usually find a job or two. Today, I chose to freshen up their house plants. Jamie is in charge of all living plants, inside and out so I knew it was okay to clean them up. Most of them were mine to begin with. I sent him photos of the finished products and the bag of dead foliage. He was pleased. His female traveling companions were chosen to play family feud on the cruise. They did not win but everyone had fun with the experience. Our fall HVAC maintenance was scheduled for today. Hubby said it went without issue. He picked up meds, groceries, and an apple pie for Parker. We figure he needs a bit of spoiling since his family is cruising the Caribbean while he is at school and then working most days. He was invited to go but wisely chose to stay home and not shun his responsibilities. I still have some of the delicious dinner Kristen sent us last night. So the pets and I will have a quiet night. Hope yours is too. Stay safe. Thanks for your visit.
