21, again!! Day 2

The walled city of Saint Malo from the Île de Grand Bé 

Arived St Malo at 8am in thick fog. Trundled cases from port into the walled city and left them at hotel. Breakfast at cafe looking ontoo Chateau de Saint Malo. Walked along city ramparts looking across to Fort National. Walked across tidal causeway to Île de Grand Bé. Drink at beach café overlooking the islands. Lunchstop at bakery café. Back to hotel to check-in, with views of higgledy piggledy rooftops from room. Pharmacy for honey dressings for my hand. Cathedral to admire modern stained glass windows and light a candle. Exhibition of photos by Lee Miller of the liberation of St Malo in 1944. Wandered the back streets before café stop no4! Completed circuit of the ramparts, ending at crêperie with views of the sun setting over Dinard. Back to hotel past floodlit cathedral. An incredibly mild day of 20 degrees, but mainly overcast with the odd shower. Pooped!!
