Diving Gannet & Purple Sandpipers #74

A change in the weather, but still dry so we wrapped up warm and went for a wander around Seahouses where the purple sandpipers were quite close and having a bath. 
The Eiders were too far away for photos but wil did see a long tailed duck amongst them which was fun.
After lunch we had a walk on Bamburgh beach where a guy and his Dad were surfing in the wind - it was his birthday and asked if I could send him some of the shots I took. Of course I could. 
More sea watching and there were plenty of gannets diving, Eiders, cormorants and even a couple of terns fishing for food. We also saw some seals and a couple of dolphins before we got too cold in the wind and came home.
