Hottest Day So Far

This morning when I woke I decided after my banana and blueberry smoothie for breakfast I was going to go for a run in the forest. I wanted to leave before it go too hot. Walked out the front door around 9.15am...I decided to run all the way, no walking the hills...that was my challenge, not my pace or time finished. Parts of the run was in shade which was very enjoyable, a few parts in the full sun and it was HOT...but I did it 7.45km without walking the hills, and there are a lot, more hills than flats.

Got home and chatted to my youngest daughter on Skype, then went off to have a shower as had a tomato face and very sweaty... She teased me by saying she could * smell * me :)

After the shower I sat in front of the computer to finish the editing from last saturdays wedding. Tonight will go over a few of the posed images to see if all is good...then finished.

I lay in the sunshine for a while, felt like the sun was burning my skin and i have a tough skin which tans easily....little sparks it felt like.

Then cooked dinner and had another skype call to my little granddaughter, sat outside as tomorrow I rush as go off to teach.

The images is the pathway behind our home...on the one side are the homes and the other side a river, which now is very over grown.

Loved my day....
