All hands on deck
I decided while I was still in bed this morning that I'd have a day outside today, but on opening the curtains I discovered that it was raining! Typical! Instead I wasted a lot of time on the computer trying to access various savings accounts and other sites, only to be refused entry, password is wrong, then Username is wrong, everything's wrong. So annoying when you know it’s right!
By lunchtime the rain was off, so I began to move all my many bread crates of potted plants from one side of the deck to the other - only a few feet, but to avoid making my back worse I tried to drag them with a rake. By moving them they are partially protected by the overhang of the roof, so any plants which need to be keep drier during the winter can go on that side. A job for another day. I cut down the big potted runner beans - I found one more bean! - and took the pots away so I could sweep and hose down the deck.
I took some pictures of a potted Primula viallii, strangely in flower at this time of year. I grew these from seed and one decided it was worth having a go at flowering! When I came to use it as my Blip, for some unknown reason the computer refused, telling me that the file was corrupted and unusable. What a cheek - the camera is reading it perfectly well! So I’m afraid that once again, my Blip wasn’t taken today, the only comfort being that Parahebe catarractae ‘Avalanche’ is still in flower so I could have taken the picture today! It's on the edge of my drive bed and hangs down over the stonework.
