The Black Spot is upon our door

Ottawacker Jr. was once again sick all day – not really worse than yesterday but not getting any better. Thankfully, on this weekend of giving thanks, we have discovered Benylin Night, which not only allows the child who is taking it to sleep, it helps enormously for its parents.
 
After a visit to Mooney’s Bay on her bike (and credit for the blip must go to her), Mrs. Ottawacker went over to Kanata to her brother’s house as other family members—brother Tom, niece Mahndee, and sister Sally, and their respective partners—were there. I stayed at home to look after Ottawacker Jr. and relax. We both did a lot of that.
 
Around 5, I decided that what we really needed to feel better and be happy was Chinese takeout. So, when Mrs. Ottawacker returned, we sent her out immediately to pick it up. And very good it was too. Once we’d finished, we settled down to watch Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, which was the Sick One’s choice of film.
 
To bed, where I slept very badly.
