Magnificent Scot’s pines

It blew a hooley last night and was raining at breakfast time. Undeterred, we set out in the vehicles.

After we had walked for a while, uphill by the river Lair, the rain stopped. This was another lovely valley, this time with many interesting Scots pine.

The rowan trees are the belles everywhere we go, so I have included one as an extra.

We managed a coffee stop today -not until the afternoon - and it was much appreciated!
