21, again!! Day 3

Mont Saint Michel, Normandy

Beautiful morning sunlight when we walked out of the city gate to take a coach from Saint Malo to Mont Saint Michel. Walked out along the causeway to the medieval walled town and climbed the narrow streets up to the abbey. Amazing views all around. Weather very changeable, when the sun shone so warm, 21 degrees, but very windy. Followed the ramparts down and found a cafe with views up to the abbey above. A magical place that I never tire of visiting, just like Saint Malo. Back in Saint Malo the rain had arrived so some retail therapy then a visit to a lovely Italian restaurant.

Yesterday walked 7 miles, today nearly 6. May be tired but am determined to make the most of every min I have in France.
