The Fun Of It

And we were away off tonight out west to see Public Service Broadcasting for Mrs C's birthday at the Barrowlands. Halo Maud was supporting and made an impression so I need to check out more of her music. Their current album is based around Amelia Earhart's last flight in 1937. The band were again joined by Eera who appears on this and the last album. This is the 7th time I have blipped them since starting here, and each time I say their show was a step up and unsurpringly it was again. Their backdrop was designed as a plane's cockpit display which doubled as the windows in a plane, with the usual public service films in the dials/windows. And once again, The Brassy Gents come on stage for the songs that need the brass and always raise the roof. Brilliant gig and a late night home. I think we have a month off before the next gig.
