Day at a Time

Seasonal Abstract

It had to be leaves today.

When I opened the shutters this morning I was greeted by leaves pouring off the oak tree at the front of the house. It's almost bare now.

These leaves are of a small acer in the back garden. I've faffed about with them to make a sort of abstract. Thanks for hosting Ingeborg.

Lovely early walk then a housework workout. Made a lemon drizzle cake which looks ok but not magnificent.

Walking this afternoon with someone I knew many decades ago. She no longer lives in Stirling but her daughter does. She's house and dog sitting while her daughter is away. I'll invite her in afterwards for a cup of tea and a slice of LDC.
