Filey
It was a glorious sunny start to the day and we headed to Filey. We walked a couple of miles along the cliff top path (Cleveland Way) towards Scarborough. Sadly, Mrs madwill was suffering with one of her boots rubbing her toes and so we headed back to the car park…just over four miles walked. I carried on walking to the end of Filey Brigg which is the cliff behind the boat in the main photo..this was taken at The Coble Landing near the lifeboat station.
From the top of the Brigg I watched the tide slowing coming in and even though conditions were very calm, there were some big waves splashing over the rocks…see extra.
We popped into town for coffee and lunch and then to a supermarket for a few bits…while I was waiting for Mrs madwill to park the car, I bumped into blip-buddy riversider who lives nearby..and we stood having a chinwag for a few minutes!!
