Winter Garden

Not too shabby. May cut the grass one last time before the frosts set in as we’ve got a couple of days of decent weather. But I’ve never known the ground so wet; it’s been a rainy autumn.

On which topic I was digging a damp course for the shack today. Quite hard work but the soil level is well above the level of the foundations and it’s causing a few problems. I’ve also got some Drybase which is horribly expensive but means I can approach the problem from the inside as well as the outside. It’s a liquid membrane which comes recommended but I can’t apply it until the inside is fully dry.

I walked into work with TSM this morning but felt terrible walking back. Slumped on the bed with tea and toast. Fortunately things got better as the day wore on.

Started watching the final season of The Umbrella Academy which is as crazy and as enjoyable as ever. You like the characters and want to know what happens next. Plus it’s bizarre and surreal at times in a Twin Peaks meets Stranger Things kind of way…
