House of Borgia

We’d arranged to meet up with my friend Alan, who lives in the nearby town of Gandia, today. We’d planned to leave early in the morning and make a day of it, but we had a last minute appointment late morning so didn’t get there until early afternoon. After lunch in the main square, we met up with Alan for coffee and cakes. We just had time to explore the Ducal Palace (home of the Borgia family) and the cathedral before catching the train back to Valencia. It was a beautiful sunset on the journey home and a very bright hunter’s moon in Valencia. Sadly my mobile camera wasn’t up to capturing either!
