Cloud Nine

It’s been rather too hot for me (and the Valencians) since we arrived here at the beginning of the month but finally today it cooled down. There was a distinct autumnal chill in the air first thing and also this evening.
In the morning we had to buy a new microwave for the flat and presents for our friends/family in Seville. We’re going there next week. We jumped on the bus to the beach afterwards and had an excellent swim (one of my longest of the year) before finally trying the restaurant below our flat for their set lunch (been on our to do list for a while). In the evening, I sat out in our local park, enjoying the cool breeze.
