Faithful Grand Pets

Brrr cold. That was my first thought when I awoke this morning. We hadn’t turned on the heat yet and it was definitely cold in this house. Parker set the thermostat so things like my fingers started to thaw out. We know I am exaggerating here. A lot of my day was spent texting, seriously. Jamie must have had alone down time on the ship. He said it is raining heavily in his part of the Caribbean. Renee and the ladies had a spa day. He was catching up with work business. Hubby also sent me photos during his adventures and my sister shared progress on one of her painting projects. It was nice to have so much outside contact. Hubby dropped off fresh bread, a can of orange rolls to bake and bananas. I shared some of the chicken salad I made for lunches. Parker let me know he’d be working after school, another regular day off not happening. I feel bad that he doesn’t get dinner until after 8:30 pm most days. Willow, Raven and Belle Kitty joined me for Kindle and nap time. Belle slept on my lap again last night. She is usually more skittish but this week, we have really bonded. Since Beautiful Willow made my blip page earlier this week, I thought it only fair to showcase these two gentle and lovable pets today. Can’t you just see the love in those eyes? It will be so good getting out in my gardens next week. I really am not comfortable leaving the pups for long and going back and forth to the house isn’t practical or productive. One pup had gotten sick at the door when we went to the funeral. They have grown accustomed to having someone here all the time since COVID. Maybe they have separation anxiety. Not sure how they will handle me being gone tomorrow for that horrendous root canal. Sure hope my sister is correct about this dentist not hurting you during the entire procedure.
