2 years already

2 years ago today i’d agreed to meet C for a coffee, for the first time in 48 years, so glad I didn’t change my mind :-)

We had plans for 2 nights away, the Lakes & Blackpool illuminations, something neither of us have done for many years, but we decided to cancel because of my arm & hospital appointments.

It was good news at the fracture clinic this morning though, i have a permanent cast on now, a red one of course, it’s quite achey today but at least it’s in a good & firm position. Have to go back in 2 weeks for further xray by which time all the swelling should have gone, in case the plaster is too loose & has allowed it to move, if so, other options will be discussed, if all ok, likely a further 2 weeks, so fingers crossed!

It’s been a beautiful day here in the East. We went for a coffee by the canal after the clinic, like we did 2 years ago, & tonight we have been out for an italian, I had pizza as it was fairly easy to eat & my clothes didn’t need protecting with an alton towers type poncho ;-))) then afterwards, we went to see T-Rextasy at Lincoln Royal Theatre……

All in all a good day :-)
