Wisteria

There are two snowstorms of sorts happening in my garden at present. The flowering cherry tree is heavily laden with with blossom. As the wind blows the blossoms are beginning to morph into a snowstorm of pale pink and white petals, falling and covering areas of the lawn with a magic carpet. Likewise the same is happening with the wisteria. Pale lilac petals are falling and covering the patio, the table, outdoor chairs and other furniture with delicate petals. So very pretty …. And I don’t begrudge the time it take to rake and sweep up the evidence….
