Images from Stowe and the moon from last night

A day out to Buckinghamshire primarily to see the D Day commemoration at Stowe in the twilight.

Started off in Bicester Village which was full of potential Blip images.

Then went off to Stowe. Weather was good and we had a lovely walk through the grounds before the evening twilight session.

Bumped into Steveng and Gill for a mini Blip meet.

My images are a selection of the D-Day Silhouettes. Very haunting and even more so when a musician played the Last Post when the silhouettes were lit up. There were 1475 silhouettes: each one created to commemorate someone who died on D-Day.

A couple of the images have the juxtaposition of war like sculptures and the silhouettes. A statue taken using bracketing and an image of the moon from last night.

Have a good weekend.
