Butterflies at the Canna Lily

Yet another Friday when Birgit was unable to do lunch. It’s been too long now. :-(

The fall weather is most definitely here and so I was not going to miss sitting outside in the sunshine and totally enjoying it!

When I first went out it wasn’t even 50°F but the sunshine was gorgeous and it didn’t take too long to warm up some. It got into the high 60°’s so MiniMe & I were happy.

I managed to get a good photo of both a Fritillary and a Cloudless Sulphur at the Canna Lily and so that then allowed me to relax and read as well as pay attention to my divine diva of a companion, MiniMe!

My brother had given me the ETA of 4:30 for getting into town and so I headed out about 4:15 to go pick him up.

Couldn’t have timed it better, as when I was driving down the main road towards where he parks, who was behind me but my brother in his 18 wheeler.

I always take him by the grocery store on the way home and he had just finished unloading his things into his house and his wife got home from work. It was good timing all ‘round.
