Red Tulips

This morning I headed to the Lavender Farm because I knew there were lots of colourful tulips still in flower.  The extras are (1)  Golden Tulips  (2 and 3) Looking at the Lavender door.  No lavender out yet, probably January or February.

There is a big event on in Wanaka today, it is a triathlon, involving Kayaks, Mountain bikes and running.  The quickest people did it in was 4 and a half hours.  As I drove past there were plenty of cars but no activity that I could see.  It is a lovely sunny day, +7C to +16C.
