A' Choille Seunta

In October, Faskally Forest Parkrun shares the woods with the Enchanted Forest which makes for a slightly surreal atmosphere at time.  I was rather taken by these glittering mirrors on the bridge across the lochan which I crossed en-route to the start.

It was a lovely day today and we welcomed 100 runners and walkers. It was certainly a lovely day to be out and about and given tomorrow's forecast I am glad I made the most of by walking there and back. 

I continued work on my first assessment this afternoon - all that is remaining is to proof read my written work and to re-record the oral assessment making sure I pronounce all my "ch"'s ! 

I also continued work on the blogs I am writing about my Irish ancestors following our trip there.
