Looking towards Mount Edgecombe Park

The weather forecast was looking much brighter today than had been previously forecast. We decided to do a circular walk from Cremyll to Kingsand returning along the coastal path.  We set off early taking the ferry across, the light was lovely as we walked along the river Tamar side passing  various old military fortifications many of which had graffiti on them. We reached a small harbour area, and then headed back inland.  As we approached Kingsand the weather was starting to change and the wind pick up.  It's an attractive small village and we spent a short time on the beach looking at the colourful small pebbles and views of the clock tower.

As the weather was starting to look like it might rain we decided to head back and walked back along the coastal path with its views towards Plymouth.  We managed to enjoy our picnic lunch in some woodland before getting lost in the various diversions around Fort Picklecombe.  By the time we reached the ferry it was starting to rain, such a change in the day but it wasn't too heavy and we quickly made it back to our accommodation.

An evening meal in our accommodation followed by watching the film Empire of Light on the very large TV was enjoyed by us all.
