Smug Cat

Feather or Fur?

When I saw today's Heartfreek July Challenge I immediately thought of a cat, but much as I would like to be owned by one, the nearest I get is seeing Mum's Felix cat Joey, or chasing a neighbour's moggie away from my fish pond. I suspect that particular cat also terrorises the local bird population! I did think about a photo, but he is rather secretive and all I saw was the end of his tail as he disappeared under a hedge.

So instead, here is my very smug fat cat who sits on the patio next to the pond, perhaps dreaming of feathered friends dinners.
