CrocusMan

Nearly

.... a quarter of a century since I sowed the seeds that produced this crocus.   Twenty four years to be precise.   Crocus goulimyi leucanthus, leucanthus meaning pale flowered, the seed came from the Peloponnese where they grow wild, often found in great quantities in old, abandoned olive groves.  It's featured here before, this from 2015, when I had a few more flowers.

A lovely walk at Rhydyronen with C and the Megs before finishing my packing and setting off for Birmingham where Ruth and I have had a convivial evening including watching another episode of the excellent Ludwig.
