…..woke to a message from home that Aunty K passed away yesterday afternoon. Damn. A strong, independent woman to the end.

We had a walking tour of Kyoto booked. Pretty amazing actually. Not much has survived wars, earthquakes, fires, etc, but the stuff that has…..wow!

Delighted to find that Kyoto Brewery is behind our hotel. Splendid.
