Another first

Quite by chance this morning we discovered that today was the annual Porthleven Raft Race!

We had time for a quick stomp down the Loe Bar loop before it started and then had so much fun watching it - completely and utterly bonkers!

Wonderful creativity with the rafts and the costumes, lots of sabotage going on, a raft that literally split in two and one that didn't even get off the starting line! 

Then headed off to a new restaurant, Cantina, for a late Sunday lunch. Oh my it was incredible! Quite delicious and enormous portions. Suffice to say  we then rolled home and didn't move off the sofa for the rest of the day!
