A Ring of Steel
The sky was not always as blue as this . Earlier, just as the Merry Widows were arriving for coffee, the heavens opened and it poured leaving us like 3 drowned rats as we made our way to Söderberg.
Storm Ashley is shaking her fist at us but apart from the wind it is now a pleasant autumn day. Is it possible that we have only this to contend with or is she still coming for us? Time will tell.
Since it is 12 weeks since we last met, we ladies had much news to catch up on and it took us two and a half hours to do that and set the world affairs in order too. If only!
With nothing in the can for Blipfoto I thought to show you the scaffolding which is encasing me in a ring of steel. I wonder if any workmen will materialise tomorrow and begin the job of sorting out the drainage problems in the 3 balconies above me. It may be that I will be able to adorn the structure with Christmas lights if they take as long to finish as they have done on my neighbour’s block when it has taken 3 months. The work force attendance was probably somewhat less than 50% over the months.
