After the storm....

It certainly was rainy and windy this morning, although not too bad here compared to other areas of the country affected by Storm Ashley. Xena went for a run with Gavin before it got too rainy.

We went to our local pub for Sunday lunch which was delicious as usual, and afterwards Gavin and I went to the driving range. We played a virtual round of golf using TopTracer at Torrey Pines in San Diego. Torrey Pines is a public golf course that is one of the premier PGA golf courses in the USA, it hosted the 2008 US Open where Tiger Woods secured a victory. In the extras you will see some buildings around the green I am about to play, and those buildings are where Adam will be working, The Salk Institute, from the beginning of January. He is very lucky that his new lab overlooks the golf course and he hopes to play there regularly!

We took Xena for another walk where I noticed this tree has beautiful red leaves already.
