New shops

I have one picture with pink in it to post for the day, but this one tells a better story. :)

So, for several months we've noticed decidedly different shops/businesses in two newly constructed multi-storey buildings in our precinct. The one in the picture even got Diane's attention when we were stopped at the junction. She joked about it being a biblical cafe. After being home all day chilling and getting things done, we decided to have a walk and headed to this cafe.

We soon learnt why things are so different in this area. Emirates (the airline) is now housing its cabin crew in these buildings. It's great to see the upmarket swing that this is bringing, but it wasn't long before we saw the other problems that come with it as well. Oh well.

Praisethree Cafe does indeed have a biblical theme (amazing). They have art on the walls leaving no doubt. The owner happened to be in the house so we had a chat with her. I would love to be a volunteer there if they ever needed one.
