Goodbye to Ponta do Sol …

… where we have stayed for 5 nights, lucky to get a bit of a sunset with dark clouds that have not brought rain. Tomorrow we return to Funchal ready for our flight on Tuesday morning. Extra of the town at night.

Today we did a coastal road trip with two swimming beaches: the one at Seixal with its rolling waves and black sand was our favourite (David in action in the wave in extra!) 

About to pack now as we are leaving early to discover more of the varied and magical island that so many tourists are now discovering!
